6-7 tblsp Milk (Whole Milk )
1 tsp Ghee
For Sugar Syrup
Cardamon powder
1 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cup Water
Oil for frying
Saffron ( optional)
Method:
- Boil sugar and water on medium flame.

- Take the bread crumbs, add milk and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal parts, apply some ghee on your palm and make small balls from the dough without applying much pressure.
- Heat some oil in a kadai and fry the gulab jamuns on low flame until they turn golden brown. Keep stirring continuously for even colour.
- Take out the fried gulab jamuns in a kitchen towel and drop them into the warm sugar syrup ( not hot or cold)
- Let the gulam jamun remain in the syrup for 1 hour or until they turn soft.
- Instant gulab jamun is ready. It can be served warm or chilled, goes best with scoop of ice cream.
